Ayurveda in Sankrit means “Veda of Ayus” or knowledge of life. In recent years this 3000 years old medical system has gained universal acclaim for its curative powers and the ability to maintain physical, mental and spiritual health with out the burdens of toxicity and side effects.

The traditional science of Ayurveda has been handed down through centuries by ancient physicians who practised and preached the “ Pancha bhutha” and “Thridosha” theories of Ayurveda. According to Ayurveda, good health is the harmonious coexistance of three elements - body, mind & soul. Life based on Ayurvedic principles will resist diseases, arrest premature aging and retain youthfulness.

Unlike the modern systems of medicine, Ayurveda treats the individual and not the symptoms of disease. Perfected over centuries, it is purly natural and is absolutely free of side effects.

The treatments in Ayurvedic can be broadly divided into two - rejuvenative and therapeutic. As the name suggests, the rejuvenative treatment mainly aims at the total well being of the patient while therapeutic treatment is ailment specific.
